What would you highlight about Gem Riad

The best place we ever stayed, the hosts are now family!

The hosts were amazing at all times, always helpful and treated us like kings, we had great homemade traditional breakfast, the room was huge and super clean, beautiful decoration, and you had a rooftop where you could see the whole Medina and Atlas Mountains. Honestly we couldn’t have stayed in a better place. I doubt there is a better riad in the Medina.

An amazing stay in a beautiful peaceful riad with the most lovely people ️

Absolutely everything! The location was perfect, on a lovely quiet street but close to everything. The room and building itself were exceptional, very beautiful and clean. We loved the breakfast on the rooftop, it was tasty, and a little different every day! But the best part was the staff, the guys took so such a good care of us, recommended a bunch of nice places, and offered us a loooot of delicious Moroccan mint tea! 100% recommend and we are looking forward to come back there!

Amazing. 100% recommend to stay here

The interior design and prints were so aesthetically pleasing. very clean property and the room which was upgraded was beautiful. very comfortable beds and even dressing gowns and slippers were included. the two hosts were absolutely amazing. so welcoming and made the stay even more enjoyable. They offered us tea on arrival and anytime we were at the premises on the terrace, advice on where to go eat and organised our taxi to airport. would 100% stay here again. 10/10

Very comfortable and cosy

Staff are incredible! They were the most helpful and friendly. Always smiling and attentive. The place was amazing, big clean rooms and nice bathrooms. The location was great, just couple of minutes to the main square, yet it was easy to escape the old town by just going the opposite direction.

I guess the breakfast was ordinary, just like any other place in Morocco. Not really a minus point

Warm stuff, great food, and in-depth knowledge of the local attractions.

The staff was so kind and their airports pick up shuttle was so convenient and a must! we were greeted with mint tea and a thorough explanation of the Medina. The breakfast was excellent and they even let us leave our bags in the room four hours after check out so that we can explore a little bit more. if you’re looking for a central located Riad with amazing staff! it is Gem!!

Exceptionnel

Great location. Room was lovely, bed was comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly: Abdul and Ali had provided lots of recommendations on Restaurants and where to go, and plied us with copious amounts of mint tea - all with a smile on the face! As we need to depart early in the morning for the two-day excursions, they even offered to bring us breakfast to our room at 7am. We would 100% recommend Gem Riad !

If you like a traditional Moroccan ambience Gem Riad is the place. Quiet, clean (my room is clean everyday) . Walking distance to places of interest. Service..excellent, you feel at home and safe .Salute to Abul, Ali and another ( forgot to ask the name) gave an excellent service. Breakfast is absolutely great. 2 thumbs up to this hotel and highly recommended.

If you're going to stay anywhere in Marrakech, make this place it.

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, room was lovely with a cleaning service every day, all the furnishings were well put-together, breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the location, just south of Jemaa el-Fnaa, was superb for us. They helped us book a Hammam while we were there, provided recommendations, offered us free tea every day when we'd come in from a day of sightseeing. Couldn't have asked for more, from that perspective. Amazing value for money.

Only issue was that the WiFi was inconsistent, and dipped in and out. If you can look past that, though, then the place was amazing.

Exceptional

I recommande Gem Riad for the it’s location and also quietness after a busy day spend in the souk or else. I had a nice recommandation from Abdul and Ali about Restaurants and where to go, they where very helpful and at hands, easy to talk to, and always happy to help me. My room was kept clean by the staff on daily basic. The breakfast was nice and gave me the energy to go and explore the city. One evening I witness one of the most beautiful stunning sunset from the roof top. Thank you Abdul and Ali.

Gem Riad was my Moroccan home

Gem Riad was exceptionally the best hotel/Riad I’ve stayed at they are so caring and went above and beyond. Ali, Abdul and Suleyman honestly made this trip a lot easier. They provided endless recommendations, booked reservations and were always just a call away! I will never forget Gem Riad as it was such a big part of my Marrakech experience! I would highly recommend this location for anyone considering, they will surpass your expectations.

Amazing Days in Marrakech

Great location, really good value for money but the very best of this Riad is the stuff, mainly Abdul and he's smiley face and great attitude towards life and all the request you may have. Be ready to a great stay and one of the best cities I have been. Salam Aleikum

Exceeded my expectations by far!

The staff were amazing! From the second I walked in until I walked out of there, I felt very taken care of! They made sure I have everything I need and I know my way around. They took their time to sit down with me and map out the surrounding so I get the lay of the land. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet when I wanted to sleep in. They even offered to bring me breakfast to my room whenever I wanted. All I can say is, wow! If I come back here, it's definitely the place I'll come back to!

Exceptional

Everything! The Riad is beautiful, very peaceful and with lots of wonderful quiet spots to sit and relax (we loved the tented area)! The location is excellent - a quiet little side street just 5 minutes walk from the main Jamal Al Fna square and around the corner from the Bahia palace. Breakfast was very good - fresh pastries, bread, fruit, coffee and eggs - a wonderful start to the day. Abdul and Ali were absolutely fantastic - nothing was too much trouble, they organised all of our tours, helped us to navigate around the city and plied us with copious amounts of mint tea - all with a smile on the face! We would 100% recommend Gem Riad!
